○ To systematically collect and collate available testimonies and documentation on human rights conditions in North Korea as a whole, including information on institutions and practices throughout society;

○ To make possible, by organizing and analyzing a vast amount of material that has never before been brought together in a single database, better documentation of a human rights situation in North Korea.

○ To serve the information needs of the growing community of organizations, individuals, and UN and government officials working to bring an end to the ongoing massive human rights violations in North Korea.
 
Investigation and Analysis of North Korean Human Rights Situation
A vast range of cases is being investigated and analyzed in South Korea and in overseas before classified and documented according to victims and events.
-Interview and investigation on North Korean defectors in South Korea or overseas
-Research and study on existent paper materials, web data and publications
-Analysis of cases and categorization of victims and events
-Certification of confidence in each case

Management of Database on Human Rights Violation
With data investigation, analysis, and categorization, we utilize internationally renowned human rights DB program, HURIDOCS STANDARD FORMATS, to construct cases of human rights violations in database format.
-Summarization of each human rights violation case in English and Korean
-Input of data into human rights DB HURIDOCS construction of database in English and Korean
-Providing case materials of human rights violation as each categories.

Publication of investigation and study results
On the ground of DB on human rights violation, we publish books and data.
-Periodical publication of White Paper on North Korean Human Rights (Kor/Eng)
-Publication of case reviews on human rights violation


Management of Volunteer Groups for North Korean Human Rights
-Professionals, human rights activists, and associates for case investigation and analysis
-Research on documents, analysis and categorization of materials.
-International volunteer for improving human rights conditions in North Korea.
